7 Days to Die server hosting that survives horde night

7DTD servers are heavy on big random-gen maps and heavier with overhaul mods. You pick how many friends can join, we leave the memory uncapped and watch it, pre-generate your map once instead of every restart, and let the co-admin handle the 'server is lagging on day 7' message.

  • Navezgane or random-gen maps up to 10k, generated once and cached
  • Mod and modlet support (Darkness Falls, Undead Legacy and friends)
  • Scheduled restarts before horde night, on by default
  • Nightly backups, one-click restore
  • AI co-admin in Discord

An admin that reads the logs

Things 7 Days to Die server owners learn the hard way

  • Random-gen map creation can take 10+ minutes on first boot; that's not a crash.
  • Schedule the daily restart 30 minutes before horde night to clear memory.

7 Days to Die hosting FAQ

How much RAM does a 7 Days to Die server need?

You don't pick a RAM size with CouchRaid. RAM is uncapped and shared on the node and we watch it for you; the thing you pick is how many friends can join (player slots). Large random-gen maps and overhaul mods use more memory than Navezgane — the co-admin tells you if your server is running hot.

Can I run overhaul mods like Darkness Falls?

Yes. Upload the mod to /Mods via the file manager; every player installs the client side too.

How do I change difficulty or horde frequency?

Every serverconfig.xml option is editable from the panel's Startup tab; no XML editing needed.

Is there a free trial?

48 hours on a 2-slot server, no card. Extend it once by 24 hours from the dashboard if you need more time.

Ready when your friends are.

48 hours free on the Duo plan, then from $5.99/mo.
