Minecraft server hosting with an admin that never sleeps

Every Minecraft host says 'one-click modpacks'. The difference is what happens at 11pm when the server says 'Can't keep up!' and your friends start typing in all caps. Our co-admin reads latest.log, tells you which plugin or chunk is the problem, and fixes the ones it can.

  • Paper, Purpur, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and CurseForge/Modrinth packs — one click
  • Bedrock crossplay with Geyser + Floodgate toggle
  • Plugin and mod installer in the panel
  • Nightly backups, 5 restore points
  • AI co-admin: 'why is it lagging?' gets a real answer from your logs

Live in under 60 seconds

Provisioning starts while you confirm your email. The dashboard shows the address the moment it exists.

An admin that reads the logs

The CouchRaid co-admin in your Discord explains crashes from the real log, restarts, restores and schedules. You confirm the scary stuff.

Your world stays yours

5 backup slots with one-click restore, full file access through the panel, and you can download your save any time.

Things Minecraft server owners learn the hard way

  • Pre-generate your world with Chunky right after creating it; most 'lag' is chunk generation.
  • Keep view-distance at 8–10 for groups; 32 looks pretty and halves your TPS.

Minecraft hosting FAQ

How much RAM does a Minecraft server need?

You don't pick a RAM size with CouchRaid. RAM is uncapped and shared on the node and we watch it for you; the thing you pick is how many friends can join (player slots). Modpacks use more memory than vanilla — ask the co-admin why the server is lagging and it tells you when it's short on memory, so you can trim the pack or move up a slot tier.

Can Bedrock (console/phone) players join a Java server?

Yes — flip on Geyser + Floodgate in the panel. Bedrock players join on the UDP port shown on your dashboard.

Can I install any modpack?

CurseForge and Modrinth packs install from the panel. For a custom pack, upload the server files via SFTP or the file manager.

Do you support plugins?

Paper/Purpur servers support plugins via the built-in installer or by uploading .jar files to /plugins.

Is there a free trial?

48 hours on a 2-slot Paper server, no card. Extend it once by 24 hours from the dashboard if you need more time, and keep your world by adding a card before it expires.

Ready when your friends are.

48 hours free on the Duo plan, then from $5.99/mo.
