Privacy policy

This explains what CouchRaid collects, why, and what we do not do with it.

What we collect

• Your email address — it is your login. We send sign-in links, trial reminders and billing emails to it.
• Server details — game, region, plan, server name, the address we assigned and the actions you (or the co-admin on your behalf) take, in an event log.
• Abuse-prevention hashes — when you start a trial we store one-way hashes of your email, of your network prefix (not your full IP) and of a random device id kept in your browser. We cannot turn these back into the original values; we use them only to enforce the one-trial rule.
• Discord account id — if you link Discord, we store your Discord user id so the co-admin knows which servers you own. We do not read your Discord messages outside of commands addressed to the bot.
• Payment — handled by Stripe. We store Stripe’s customer and subscription identifiers, never card numbers.

What we do with it

• Run your server and dashboard, bill you, and send the emails above.
• Count things in aggregate (trials started, trials kept, which platform people arrived from) to run the business.
• The co-admin sends your server’s log excerpts and your question to an AI model provider to generate an answer. It never sends your email, payment details or API keys.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your data.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
• We do not read your game world files except when you ask us to help with a problem.

Who else sees it

Processors we rely on: our hosting provider (servers and backups), Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider (emails), Cloudflare (DNS and optional bot check), Discord (the bot) and an AI model provider (co-admin answers). Each receives only what it needs for that job.

How long we keep it

• Account and server records: while your account exists, then deleted within 30 days of you asking us to close it.
• Event log and abuse hashes: up to 24 months.
• Deleted servers: files and backups are removed within days of deletion.

Your rights

Ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account, and we will do it. Contact us through the Discord or the support address on the dashboard. If you are in the EU/UK you may also complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies

One cookie holds your sign-in session (30 days), one tells the site whether to show “Dashboard” or “Log in”, and the browser’s local storage holds the random device id described above. No advertising cookies.
